Independent
Newham Users Forum is an independent charity. It exists to support mental
health service users, survivors and carers.
INUF is based in Stratford and presides in Ithaca House, named after the
Greek Island of Ithaca, a safe haven for those travelling through rough
seas. If you are an individual experiencing rough times, INUF at Ithaca
house, is a place to rebuild and repair, so you can resume your journey
when seas are calmer.
Our
Mission statement is:
To promote the relief of persons with mental health problems within the
London Borough of Newham, by providing information, advocacy and support
in such ways as appropriate, in order to enable persons with mental health
problems to obtain his or her full rights and privileges as citizens.
