Lights! Camera! Action!

INUF members with an interest in cinema have been able to take advantage of a new 8-week workshop being offered by INUF volunteer, Steven Coad. Steven is a graduate of the University of Worcester, with a degree in Digital Film Production and Screenwriting.

In the first two sessions, Steven explained the structure and format of film scripts, explaining why they look like they do, and participants watched an episode of “Dr Who” to illustrate.

In future sessions, people taking part will put forward ideas for short films, up to 10 minutes in length, and the 3-4 best ideas will be turned into films.

The workshops started on 1 November, and will be offered three times a year, so if you haven’t been able to attend this time, there will be plenty of chances in the future.
