Getting Fit while Sitting Down
INUF members who feel active exercise is beyond them, are enjoying the new, chair-based exercise classes, which have been taking place at Ithaca House since 22 January. The classes, which will be offered for a total of 12 weeks are led by Shareen Akhtar, a professional fitness instructor, and are part of INUF’s “Fitness Pursuit” programme.

Participants engage in a series of fun, gentle, mostly seated exercises, to help them get moving. These include ball and hoop exercises, and Shareen will be bringing a parachute for parachute games next week.
