Chair-based Activity a Success
The chair-based activity sessions, as part of the INUF Fitness Pursuit programme, have come to an end after 12 weeks.
Though called “chair-based”, the exercises did include a few standing ones, and were incredibly varied. The participants also got to try out ball games, such as wall ball; parachute exercises; hula hooping; laughter yoga, and much more.
The sessions were run by professional trainers, Shareen Akhtar and Sadia Akthar, who were absolutely fantastic at keeping the activities light and fun, and at encouraging our users to keep returning. Overall, 23 people took part in the beginners’ exercise sessions, and there were 102 attendances in total. As the activity was such a success, we are actively seeking further funding to run it again in the future.
