INUF is honoured and delighted to be the recipient of a generous donation of £1,500 from family-run business, Beaverbrooks, The Jewellers. The firm, which has 72 branches nationwide, based mainly in the north, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
The company values its relationship with local communities, and every year, every store is given £100 per head of staff to donate to a charity chosen by the team. The Westfield Stratford store is only one of two London branches, and its staff chose to give their entire 2019 donation to INUF.
Kirby Hicks, a member of staff from the Westfield store, came to present the cheque to Chris Tzanetis, the INUF manager. “I am delighted to represent the whole Beaverbrooks team at Westfield, in handing over this donation to such a worthwhile, local charity,” she said. It is likely the money will go towards refurbishing and updating our IT Suite. Ms Kirby said Beaverbrooks also fund projects particularly liked to building improvement, so INUF may even benefit further in the future!
