

INUF Day Out at the London Tombs
About eight INUF members were lucky enough to go on a day trip to the London Bridge Experience & Tombs, on Friday 17 November. Here’s a description of the day from one of the members:

Our South London Special League Success: A Player’s View
We travelled from Stratford to North Greenwich by train on 16 November, for our seventh round of games in the South London Special League (a disability league, for which we are in the highest difficulty level group). Our coach, Andrew Grey, and key striker, Darren Seaborne, were both absent, so we shuffled round and welcomed Jermain Logan into defence. We had consistently been achieving second place for the last six league games, so were hungry for the gold medal! Immediately


INUF Wanderers Win Gold!
The INUF football team has just won gold medals in the latest tournament run by the South London Special League (SLSL). Chief player and coach, Andrew Grey, was again absent, but the team was captained by Asif Ali. The team won all four of the eight-minute games, which took place on Thursday 16 November, at Long Lane Junior Football Club, Dursley Road, Kidbrooke. Lights! Camera! Action!
INUF members with an interest in cinema have been able to take advantage of a new 8-week workshop being offered by INUF volunteer, Steven Coad. Steven is a graduate of the University of Worcester, with a degree in Digital Film Production and Screenwriting. In the first two sessions, Steven explained the structure and format of film scripts, explaining why they look like they do, and participants watched an episode of “Dr Who” to illustrate. A Player's View
Following up on our last blog post about INUF's success in the South London Special League (SLSL) Cup Tournament, we have a personal report by INUF volunteer, Rakesh Rishi, who also runs the Men's Group. "We arrived at 11.00am on 19 October at North Greenwich for our second cup game in the league – having been invited by one of our rival teams (Waltham Forest).
