The Independent Newham Users’ Forum (INUF) is a user-led mental health charity based in Stratford, London. Founded in 1999 by service user Kathy Fabian, INUF was created to improve the lives of people living with mental health challenges in the borough of Newham.
Since then, we have grown into a thriving community hub. Our home at Ithaca House gives us the space to run a wide variety of activities designed to support wellbeing and personal growth. Over the years, these have included our Drop-in service, yoga, art and dance sessions, self-defence classes, and much more.
INUF is powered by a small, dedicated staff team and supported by a passionate group of volunteers who bring a wide range of skills and experiences. Together, we work to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where people can connect, express themselves, and thrive.
